Our stories
A text adventure starring your pet and your cards. Opening the page starts a run right away, and a finished story can be published for other people to play.
It starts as soon as you open it
Opening the stories page starts a random adventure immediately — there is no party screen first. The party is drawn at random from the pet of a crew or group you belong to and the cards you own, and you appear in the story too.
- If you already have a run in progress, that run continues instead of a new one being created
- Press [New random adventure] to draw a different party
- Use [Pick the party myself] if you want to choose the crew or group and the cards
You need to be logged in to start. If none of your crews or groups has a pet, or you own no cards, the run does not start — the screen points you to picking a party yourself or building a story with a cast.
Cards and pets are never spent
Using a card in a story, or having your pet take the lead, leaves your cards and your pet untouched. Starting and continuing a run costs no points either. A card's type and elements only shape how events get resolved.
The traits and relationships you give a character exist inside the story only. Real crew and group member data is not changed.
Your choices split the story
Each scene offers a set of choices, and what you pick changes the next scene and the ending. The current scene number and the total are shown together.
- Every choice is saved automatically
- You can resume a run you left behind from your library
- If another window moved ahead, the latest save is loaded and you continue from there
You can read in Korean or English. Switching the language keeps the same events and the same record of choices; names, titles, and background text you typed in stay in the original language.
Publishing a finished story
A playthrough is private by default. When you reach the end, you are asked whether to publish it. A story cannot be published before it is finished.
Publishing shows the author's nickname, the cast's names and profile images, the world settings, and the whole story to anyone. Other people can also play their own run from those settings.
- You can withdraw a published story from your library
- When someone else plays your published story, points go to you as the author. Your own playthroughs do not count, and each person earns it once for starting and once for finishing a given story
- There is a daily cap on what an author receives, and whether this pays out at all — and how much — is set by operations
Published stories appear in the story list. Open someone else's story, press [Play as me], choose the name you go by in the story, and you play through it from the start with your own choices. The original stays as it is and your run is saved separately.
Building a story yourself
- 1Open [Create a story] from the story list
- 2Set the title and the language of the story
- 3Choose your own channel crew, a crew you joined, or a group you joined — its members become the cast candidates
- 4Pick who appears and set the lead. For each character you can set the role name, occupation, traits, and how much they trust or resent the lead
- 5Set the genre, length, era and setting, conflict level, world name, background, and place names, then start
The cast can only be chosen from existing members. If you have nothing to choose from, join a crew or a group first. A story takes between two and eight characters.
Runs you started and stories you published are collected in [My library]. Runs in progress can be resumed, and published stories can be opened or withdrawn. Stories that operations stopped from being public are shown there as well.
Common questions
Does starting a story cost points?
No. Cards and pets are not consumed either.
Can I undo publishing?
Withdrawing it from your library removes it from the list and from the story page. Runs that other people started while it was public stay in their own libraries.
Can I read the same story in English?
Yes. Switching the reading language gives you the same events and the same choices in the other language. Names, titles, and background text you typed in stay in the original language.
Can I replay a story I finished?
Your own run is fixed once it ends and cannot be continued. If the story is published, [Play as me] starts a fresh run from the beginning.
