A guide for streamers

When you go live on ci.me, that stream — along with your clips and videos — shows up on cigt's ci.me content pages. You do not have to sign up for anything: viewers can already find your streams here. Posts you write in your ci.me community start being collected once you open a channel on cigt.

• Lives, clips, videos, and posts each get their own list, and every list lets you choose how it is sorted
• Clips and videos can be liked and commented on from inside cigt
• Channels that have opened a community on cigt also get a link through to it

If you have not opened a community yet, that link is simply missing. Finish the verification below and it fills in with your channel.

A ci.me account is the only way to sign in to cigt. The verify button on the creators page takes you to the ci.me login, and when you come back the same button reads "manage my channel". There are no forms to file and no approval to wait for.

3. 3With no channel yet, your profile menu at the top shows "create a channel". Enter a name, an address, and a description there. Leave the name empty and your current nickname is used

Once it is linked, clips, videos, and ci.me post tabs appear on your channel home. Only tabs that have something to show appear, so a channel without clips has no clips tab. Reposting your ci.me community writing onto your own board is off by default: turn it on under integrations in the channel settings and posts written from then on are carried over, onto whichever board you pick there.

The channel address is fixed once the channel is created. The name, description, and images can be changed in the channel settings at any time, but the address cannot. Both the channel home and its link page are locked to that value, so choose carefully.

The share toolkit holds three things you can use on stream and on social media right away. It is linked from the creators page.

The social card attaches itself whenever a cigt link is posted. The preview in the toolkit is there so you can see how it will look.

Three pinned-comment texts are ready to use: one announcing the community is open, one about catching up and getting notified of new posts, and one about emotes and boosts. Use them as they are or rewrite them to fit your channel.

These open up once the channel exists. Nothing needs to be requested one by one — switch each on from the channel home or its settings when you want it.

• Boost — fans spend points to raise the channel level, which opens crew seats, title slots, and emote slots. The channel boost guide covers it in detail
• Crew — only a boosted channel can take crew members, and you can promote a crew member to channel manager
• Emotes — register channel emotes and sell them; the number of slots grows with the boost level
• Songbook — organise the songs you can sing and take viewer requests from the gatherbot manage pages
• Mini concert — mark a channel schedule as a mini concert and sell seat tickets and mic passes

Registering an emote costs points. After you register it, it waits for review and only goes on sale once it passes.

In a mini concert the hosts appear on video while the audience joins with audio only, no cameras. Capacity, seat ticket and mic pass prices, and when the lobby opens are set when you put it on sale, and you run the show itself from the owner console.
