Creating and shaping your channel

One account can have one channel. Fill in a name, address, and description on the create page and it is made right away; if you already have a channel, that page points you to it instead.

• Leave the name empty and your current nickname is used
• The address takes lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only, and is derived from the name if you leave it empty. If the address is already taken, a number is appended
• The name and description can be changed later in settings at any time

The address you pick at creation cannot be changed afterwards. Both your channel home address and your link page address are fixed to it, so choose carefully.

Notice, free talk, and fan-art boards are created along with the channel. Only the owner can post in the notice board, while the free talk and fan-art boards are open from followers up. Adding a board, or changing its name, write permission, or order, is done next to the board list under the community tab. Write permission is one of owner only, followers up, or everyone.

The top of the channel home shows the banner, profile image, name, description, follower count, and post count. A live marker appears while the channel is streaming. Next to it a visitor gets the follow button and the owner gets the settings button, while the write button shows up only when there is a board you are allowed to post in.

• The home, community, and info tabs are always there
• The clips, videos, and ci.me posts tabs appear only on channels that actually have that content
• The emote tab appears when there are emotes on sale, and the owner sees it even when there are none

Posts go into the boards under the community tab. Pick a board, write a title and body, then add images, emotes, or a poll. The channel owner also chooses whether the post shows up in the portal's main feed.

Editing a post covers the title and body. You cannot move it to another board or swap its attachments, and posts collected automatically from ci.me cannot be edited at all.

Only the channel owner can open settings, and it is split into six sections. Each section has its own save button, so saving one section leaves whatever you are editing in another section untouched.

Crew titles can only be created on a channel linked to a ci.me channel. How many titles you can make, and which decorations you can use, follow your channel boost level.

Custom CSS applies to your channel home only, and loading external files or scripts is blocked. Motion — animation, transition, and transform — is stripped on save as well. Risky parts are removed, so what you typed may not be kept exactly as written.

The cards section decides whether cards of your channel appear in the gacha and the dex, and lets you attach a shop link to each card. Only addresses from allowed shops are saved as shop links.

Opting out stops new cards from being made and hides the existing ones. Allowing cards again does not bring hidden cards back. Cards that people already pulled are not removed, though.

Turning on photocard saving lets viewers download your card images as files. Files that were already saved cannot be taken back — switching it off only blocks saves from that point on.

The integrations section turns on reposting of what you write in your ci.me channel community into a board here, and lets you pick that board. It starts off, and only posts written after you turn it on are carried over. For Discord, invite the bot to your server and enter the code Discord gives you here; unlinking and changing the notification channel are done from Discord.

Every channel has a link page at cigt.me/@address. It gathers the profile, the description, and the links the owner added onto a single card — and adds a live card while the channel is streaming, a price card if the channel is listed as a stock, and an event card for an upcoming schedule.

• Links are added and reordered on the edit page
• Each link can be shown or hidden on its own; a hidden link is not deleted and stays in the manage list
• You can attach a thumbnail, and only addresses starting with http or https are saved
• There is a cap on how many links one channel can hold

The link page background is set separately in the images section of settings. Leave it empty and the channel banner is used.
